Golf Course

New Albany Country Club Course Designer
Make no mistake about it. This Jack Nicklaus signature golf course is absolutely unique. Several holes have the open feel of the Scottish links. Others, the lush look of the Carolinas.
All 27 holes are as challenging as you want them to be, because the multi-tee box layout changes the course dramatically.
Take number nine on the North Course, a spectacular hole. It’s a dogleg right with a stream that meanders through the fairway twice and then guards the left side of the green. From the back, it’s 440 yards, and requires precision and power. Maybe the toughest hole on the course.
Plus, we’ve made sure the course will stay beautiful for years to come. The maintenance procedures we’ve put in place are among the best anywhere in the world.
In fact, the course is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program. A status achieved only by courses that adhere to the environmental standards set by the Audubon Society. It involves the methods we employ to protect the turf, as well as the bodies of water on the course. All of which are enhanced by the fact that more than 40 acres of the course are designated as naturalized zones. Where land and water are left uninterrupted and completely natural.
